We want your help!

We're looking for talented writers to join our team at Oculus Inventa. We focus on publishing purposeful journalism, commentary, and podcasts which are intellectually stimulating and assumption challenging.

Note about financial compensation

Since this is especially important we want to clear this up first. Unfortunately, we are unable to financially compensate our contributors. We would certainly offer our team financial compensation if we could. We just don't have the financial independence to do so at this moment. If you have questions regarding monetization, please contact us.

Why work with us?

We're generally pretty easy to work with and we don't have strict rules regarding what you have to write about. You have the freedom to write about what interests you. If you want to make controversial opinions, that's okay. We're huge proponents of free speech and we're here to support you.

You also get full credit for the work you publish. We provide you with your own Oculus Inventa author profile which lets your display your Facebook, Twitter, and personal website handles on our website.

Send us an email at [email protected] and let us know that you're interested in joining. However, if you're directly connected with one of our writers, just direct message them, no email required.

Culture and purpose

You can learn more about that here.

Why not allow open submissions like other publications?

Mainly because we want to be as familiar with our contributors and writers as much as possible. We pay special attention to the quality of the articles that we publish and we go through a somewhat rigorous editing process before publishing. This process easier if we are directly connected to you.

If you want to stay anonymous while publishing your article, that is fine. However, you must disclose your identity to the individuals who work on Oculus Inventa.

We can't simply allow anonymous people with identities we cannot verify publish on our platform. Please bring this up with us during your initial correspondence if this is an issue that concerns you.
